I am Sujatha Umakanthan. I was born in Pondicherry, a lovely coastal town in the south-east part of India. A french colony in the past, this town still boasts of old French architecture and an international community, called Auroville. I moved to Australia, 12 years ago and have been living in Brisbane since then. I am married and have two lovely kids, aged 7 and 4. I used to be a software developer but switched to project management lately. I just returned from overseas in January 2010 having completed a Masters in Strategic Project Management (European).
This blog is the happenings in my life. Keep me company while I take my baby steps on the blogging bandwagon.
All stories covered in these blogs are true. No friends or foe have been harmed in the making of this blog !!!

Our parenting magazine is looking for bloggers for our new website. If you are interested do get in touch for more details.
Many thanks,

Hi Sujatha,
I am not much of a blogger. But have joined the bandwagon too so to say.
Wishing you all the very best.

Welcome Shail
Hi Sujatha
I have to say I love your blog and I am being quite cheeky by emailing you. I just wondered if you would be interested in any pre-written blog content? I have lots available at http://www.inkelves.com and I hope you will check it out if you have a second? I hope to hear from you soon.
Kind Regards
Laura
Thanks for the offer Laura
But I would have to say no. I love blogging and I see it as an outlet for my opinions and my views on what I see around me. You can call it my voice. Having it dubbed by other professional bloggers is not something I would be keen on.
However if you want to be a guest blogger on my site in order to promote your site under your name, I would support it.
Have a good day,
Sujatha
Hi Sujatha
I have only just seen your message. I completely agree with what you are saying
I guess it all depends on the types of blogs that we write and whether they are more personal or factual.
I would be honored to be a guest blogger on your site. If you want to email me further please do!
Kind Regards
Laura

No worries Anusha. I already do it for ParentTree.com so I would be happy to link my page onto your website. I have to say my page is mostly oriented with my experiences as a migrant in a different country. I also would be talking about the support group I have started for migrants here. So not sure if it fits in with your theme but feel free to contact me if you are interested.
Cheers,
Sujatha
Hi Su,
Loved the piece on the “Circle of Trust”.
Not sure why you noted a finger being wagged at me – I do not recall the incident.
Rjn
Thanks Richard !!! Did you read the poetry one?? Would luv to know what you think about that. Forget about the finger incident – something that Lynne did before she started reading the “Spice” poetry !!! Nothing momentous about it
Did you hear anymore expressions of interest from anyone regarding the Wimmera Poetry Lovers???
